I have some thoughts, as you might expect.
This is not a post about rescue animals or cats. Although it’s within the same vein of thinking. It’s about creating a society based on kindness and love, and the fulfillment of the needs of everyone, before the extravagant desires of a few. You say socialism, I say yes socialism. Our planet is dying and to save it we must change the way we live. Yesterday I was at a fair in my little town, where a celebrity decided to show up and everyone was very excited. The celebrity had come to this fair on a yacht using more resources in one day to see a few antiques, then most people on the planet use in a month or maybe a year. The deeply troubling iniquity of our culture is unsustainable. I am not mad at that celebrity, I am disappointed in a culture that allows a few to have so much, while most people have so little.
This planet is savable, but we must start now.
